Speech/Debate Weekend Hotel Information

We have set up two hotel blocks.

Both blocks are set up to permit check in on Thursday and check out on Sunday if that better meets your needs. Block rates expire on Feb 15, availability permitting.

Block 1 - Hampton Inn (New Orleans/Elmwood)
5150 Mounes St, Harahan LA

Hotel is about 20 min from Newman (via Earhart Expressway from Harahan to the city limits)

If the website says that the block is full, you should call the hotel (504 733 5646). If rooms are available, you should be able to get the group rate. They will expand the block if they can. If needed, our group name is Louisiana NSDA, and the group code is LNS

Block 2 - Maison St. Charles

Hotel is about 15 min from Newman (along the St Charles streetcar line)
