DIVISIONS

Novice -- Novices are in their first year of debate competition, regardless of the debate event.

JV -- These debaters are in their second year of high school debate competition, regardless of the debate event. We will also accept middle schoolers in their third year of competition in this division.

TOPICS

Policy will debate -- Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase its protection of water resources in the United States.

Public Forum will debate -- Resolved: On balance, Turkey’s membership is beneficial to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. 

Lincoln Douglas will debate -- Resolved: The appropriation of outer space by private entities is unjust.
