Sundance District Qualifier

for the 2021 National Tournament

Welcome to the Sundance District National Qualifier Tournament!

This year they will be virtual. Please check your eligibility and school levels to know how many entries you can have in total and in each event. 

You can Triple Enter: 2 Speech and Congress, or 1 Speech, 1 Debate, 1 Congress. 

We will send out videos on how to check things, ensure that their forms are complete, etc. 

Prepared Speech Events will be Asynchronous in anticipation of the Virtual National Tournament per last year's precedence and have all day, from 8am to 7:30pm, on Feb 12 to be completed.  Scripts and uploads must be completed by deadline.

Feb 12 we will host the Live Speech Event: Extemps with Finals on the Saturday Feb 13 in the Morning while we are Running Big Questions.

Congress must have finals, so we are going to do one Session on Thursday March 4th, then 2nd Session and Finals on Friday March 5th. Sessions will start at 3:30pm

Schools May submit Legislation Until January 30 to be included on the Doc. We will release the Doc on Feb 4th.

MARCH TOPIC FOR PF/LD Will be Used!

Debate Prelims will take place on Saturday March 6th, and any Semi Finals or Finals the following Mon/Tuesday in the afternoon.
