Hi everyone,

Unfortunately another school has dropped and others have not expressed enough interest for us to feel that hosting is in anyone’s best interest. Please enter the St. Lafayette tournament if you can. 

We realize that a large part of the low attendance is the late schedule add. This tournament is on the GKCSC schedule for 20-21, and we would love to see you then!

We will still apply for a TOC finals bid in all events for next season. If that interests you, please consider writing a short letter of support or letting me know so I can add your name/school to the list we will submit. I have some talking points ready for you if you’d like.

Greetings! 

            The Truman High School Speech and Debate team would like to invite you to register for The Patriot Debates at Truman High School. We will be hosting Varsity and Novice divisions of Policy Debate, Lincoln Douglas, and Public Forum Debate. Each division will have 6 prelims and an appropriate number of elimination rounds. LD and PFD elims will conclude on Saturday night, while policy may have up to quarter finals occur on Sunday due to entry numbers.

            Registration will be through Tabroom.com you can find our tournament website here:  http://thepatriotdebates.tabroom.com. The tournament will be run entirely off of Tabroom.com. All school judges must have linked Tabroom Accounts and be willing to fill out online ballots. All of our coaches will be in the judging pool, so Tabroom online ballot literacy is a must.
