Event Description:
Duet Acting is a paired performance. Material from more than one source is not allowed. Adaptations should be for
the purpose of continuity only. No props or costumes are allowed. Furniture is restricted to the use of only a table
and chairs. Students may represent multiple characters, and one or both partners may provide narration. While
singing is permitted, it should not be excessive or dominate the performance. The introduction must be one
composed by the contestants and should name the work and the author.
