I debate Public Forum so i understand the rules of debate just fine. I will judge in a mix of lay and tech. This means I'll focus on the arguments but nothing that goes too far in terms of violating PF rules. I won't do any analyses for you: make it obvious for. Any argument I vote on will the ones most well developed and frontlined throughout the round.

I'm a current varsity PF debater at Vestavia Hills. I debated LD for 2 years and PF for 2 years.

- speed is fine, but don't spread

- I will flow throughout the round, so give your speeches in an organized manner

- be respectful

- address the framework

- weigh in the last speech

- I don't flow CX

How to win:

Weigh your arguments for me.

- Value Debate is imperative to me. To properly assess the round I have to know off of what basis I should be voting on.

- Contention Debate: I have no preference for this. Just do whatever you do, and do it to the best of your abilities.

I can handle essentially any argument as long as you present it well.

I frown at spreading. A good debate is a comprehensible debate.

Tell me, specifically, how what you are arguing for is holistically better for the world than what your opponent is arguing for.

In addition, remember that debate should not be based on winning, but rather on the expansion of all of our knowledge. Be respectful of each other, and just have fun :)
