Have competed in LD, PF, Policy, and Extemp; have coached LD, PF, Policy, and Parliamentary Debate. Will flow all debates. Hate spreading in all events.
LD: Stats and empirical data are fine but without strong philosophical backing, it will be hard for me to give a win. Prefer applications of philosophical framework that show some level of thought and intuition (I think a Value of Morality is fairly weak and needs an extremely strong VC to be successful).
PF & Parli: Nothing major, but again, no spreading. Require credible sources with actual data — opinion pieces are fine, but much weaker than empirical data. If you try to extrapolate data from a source like multiplying stats incorrectly, then quote them as part of the source, I will give you the loss automatically. It must be very clear what is your own mathematical extrapolation (which is more than likely incorrect), and what is actually part of the original source. If you do not have a piece of evidence cited in your case, you will also automatically receive a loss.
Policy: Do whatever you want.

email for chain: oscardebate23@gmail.com
pronouns: he/him
No need to call me judge, just call me Oscar
also pls keep track of ur own prep/speech times
note for pf/ld: idk the res, so make sure to explain any niche terminology.
note for policy: i haven't done any research on this year's resolution
note for Ks: i don't think u need to win the alt to win a k debate. if u wanna go for a non unique da w/ the link alone go for it
if the neg reads a cp and a k, the aff should just read perfcon instead of condo
TLDR; read whatever you want, I'll vote on anything (just don't be racist, homophobic, xenophobic, etc...)

I am a traditional judge. Please note the following:
- Speak clearly. If I cannot comprehend your arguments, you will lose.
- I prefer using empirical evidence over emotional arguments to win debates.
- Please use discretion when calling for cards and have them ready upon request. Excessive card calling without a clear purpose will be noted negatively.
- I prefer well-constructed arguments that connect the dots logically.
- Assertiveness is acceptable, but screaming and belittling opponents is not.
Be courteous. Be respectful. Be kind.

Hello! I'm comfortable with any type of argument, as long as it's well warranted. Not a fan of frivolous off case argumentation just for it's own sake, there needs to be a clear circumstantial link. I did LD for 4 years and PF for 1 year with lots of success on the local / state level and occasional success nationally (semis at WW was my peak).
I vote off of the flow, and look for clear impacting into a framework. I was a big framework and phil guy back in the day, so clash on a conceptual level is really enjoyable for me to judge. If you're running an off case make the ROTB very clear; don't assume I'll drop the debater/argument, clearly articulate it.
I give high speaks for efficiency and word economy; being able to concisely work through all the points you have to make and leaving enough time for voter issues and big picture weighing is a very good look.
Best of wishes, and good luck!

Hi :) I am a sophomore in college. In high school I did debate for four years with PF being my primary event.
I vote off the flow, but I value some lay aspects as well
Do:
1) Be respectful. Yelling doesn't make you a better debater.
2) Give clear warranting.
3) Explain the logic/reasoning. Don't just throw a ton of numbers at me
4) Signpost.
5) Frontline.
6) Weigh.
7) Extend offense and defense
Don't:
1) Don't spread. I can handle faster speaking paces, but up to a certain extent.
2) Don't bring up new offense after 1st summary.
3) Don't run progressive stuff.
Few more things:
1) Tech > Truth (unless ur straight up lying)
2) I don't flow cross. If something important happens, say it in a speech.
Email me at nitish9@gmail.com for any qs
Good luck
