Please be kind and respectful to your opponent(s) during CX. Treat each other with kindness overall. I would also like to say I do not like Spreading. It makes it hard for me as the judge to follow along with you and give you critiques. I am a stock issue and policy judge, but I will judge all rounds with the same criteria. Overall just convince me why the aff or neg should win the ballot in a respectful and educational way. The debate round should be educational, we should all walk out learning something new. I would like to see a debate round with respectful discussion and manners.

Most important things are creating thorough arguments that have impacts (importance). I also ask that you do not drop anything in round. I've done LD for 4 years thus I am fine if you want to spread as long as you are articulate. I can be fairly tab so feel free to run whatever you want. *Note* I would like to have a roadmap before every speech.

Tab judge (I.E. I will not connect the dots for you). Any and all arguments need to have offense behind them for them to be counted Stock issues, DA's, CP's, are all good. Theory and K's I will listen to and weigh as long as they are not being run just to run. This is a speaking event and not a speed reading event is my take on speed in a debate round. Meaning, if it is not on my flow, it does not exist in the debate. I do not like new off-case arguments in the 2 NC unless the affirmative opens the door.

I do require debaters to give me voters and impact calculus. Good clean clash and arguments.
Rebuttals are very important.
I hate speed readers and spreading. You must articulate. You are learning how not only to be be great debaters but how to be the best public speakers possible. If I can't understand your point of view why on earth would I vote for your point of view.
Most important: Be respectful.
