tldr; debate is a game, do whatever you want as long as you can justify it (within limits though, i'm not a fan of death good/racist/homophobic args, etc). Tech > truth.

spreading is okay but emphasize taglines and signpost clearly. Clarity - if you can't be clear at the speed you're going at, you should probably just slow down and don't overestimate yourself.

Planless Affs - I'm down with these types of arguments, but please don't just insert buzzwords and fancy philosophical terms in your pre-written blocks to get the ballot- i feel like that's one of the worst debates you could ever make me watch. other than that, i don't really have any strong opinions on planless/k affs.

DAs/CPs - like them !! for disads i think a good line by line and turns case analysis will make it so easy to vote on. also overviews for specific solvency mechanisms the counterplan accesses while still being competitive are nice. if you're against 10 off 1ncs and can make strategic concessions to save time in the 2ac, that will guarantee pretty high speaks.

T/Theory - international actor fiat and condo bad? no thank you.

K - explain your theory of power and how the alt solves. aff-specific links are great!! i'm not too familiar with some k lit though so please be patient. i lean very much so towards the idea that debate is good and a unique activity/experience to have.
