I keep detailed notes throughout the round

I have had experience coaching and judging primarily LD and PF.I view debate as a communication activity which should be an educational experience and be centered around the resolution. Good organization is highly appreciated. I think cross-ex is important in the round. Advocacy of a position is essential on the affirmative and preferred on the negative. Rebuttal speeches should both address line by line and the big picture clarifying the areas of clash. Voting issues are very helpful to my decision.
