Logistics Update: Parking, Payment, and Tabroom

Good Morning Noble Competitors and Coaches.

The Elkins Speech and Debate Tournament is TOMORROW YAY! Before we get started, I wanted to share some vital information with everyone regarding parking/drop-off, tabroom, and payment

1.PARKING/DROP-OFF:
For Friday- TRAFFIC WILL BE SEVERE FROM 2:00-3:30 DUE TO REGULAR DISMISSAL. Please take this into account when considering your arrival time. If you are arriving at Elkins High School before 3:00pm, you and your students will need to be dropped off in the STUDENT PARKING LOT at the back of the school. The normal buses will be using the bus ramp, and we do not want the other Elkins students to be delayed getting home on a Friday afternoon. Also, please make your way to the auditorium to wait for the cafeteria to be cleared. The cafeteria will be open for teams by 2:00pm. It is recommended that buses park in the STUDENT PARKING LOT until 3:30 when the bus ramp will be cleared.
For Saturday-DO NOT USE THE STUDENT PARKING LOT!The parking lot will be in use by band and football, and your vehicle WILL BE TOWED if left in the student lot. Instead, please have all buses use the BUS RAMP for drop-off and parking. Coaches and judges with personal vehicles may use the STAFF PARKING LOT located on the left side of the school (if facing the main entrance) near the tennis courts.

2.TABROOM/HOSPITALITY:
Tabroom, Hospitality, and Registration will all be located in theLIBRARY.There will be signage and students in Elkins team shirts to guide anyone who needs assistance. The Library is located dead-center in the middle of the school, and the entrance is in the middle hallway that links the two main hallways, between the front office and the auditorium. The entrance is surprisingly hidden, so look for the blue and gold "Library" sign near the ceiling in the central hallway. We ask that all coaches also please stop by for both food and important information/invoices, even if you have pre-registered.

3.PAYMENT:
DO NOT MAKE ANY PAYMENTS TO THE EHS SPEECH AND DEBATE ACTIVITY FUND!

One more time,DO NOT MAKE ANY PAYMENTS TO THE EHS SPEECH AND DEBATE ACTIVITY FUND!!!All finances are now handled by the Elkins Speech and Debate Booster Club. If you pay anyone/anywhere else, your payment will not be processed and you will still owe money for the tournament. There are two ways to pay your tournament dues:
-Zelle: payments can be made in-person or directly toehsdebatetreasurer@gmail.comPlease be sure to put "[your school name] tournament dues" in the memo line
-Check:All checks must be made out to "EHS Speech and Debate Booster Club" and put "tournament dues" in the memo line
