Peach State Classic 2026

Dear Colleagues,

We are excited to welcome you to our 2026 Peach State Classic hosted by Carrollton High School in Carrollton, Georgia. Our tournament will be held November 13-114, 2026.

Competitors will debate the 2026-2027 NSDA Resolutions. We will offer an Online competition in Public Forum debate and Lincoln Douglas through the NSDA Campus Platform online. All Policy and Individual Events debates will be in person. Public Forum is a TOC Qualifier Silver qualifier at quarterfinals and a Gold qualifier at semifinals.

We are offering a wide variety of individual events. All Individual Events will be in person. The Junior Varsity division is intended for students who are starting their second year of debate. The novice division will follow GFCA rules and argument restrictions.

Carrollton High School’s Peach State Classic awards the Quarter-Finalists in the Varsity Public Forum Debate division a bid to the 2027 Tournament of Champions.

In all divisions, we will have an initial cap of 6 entries per school but will not have an overall entry cap. Entries beyond that number will be on the waitlist. If appropriate, they will be entered into the tournament.

A school coach or staff member must enter students in the Peach State Classic. A school authorized adult must be in attendance at all times with participants at the Peach State Classic.

We will operate under the GFCA rules for eligibility: Novice is an individual who has debated in the their first year (No debates in the last school year). Junior Varsity is an individual who has debated in only two years of debate. Varsity is all the rest!

We look forward to hosting you in person or virtually this November.

Thank you,

Richard Bracknell and Alison Hibbard
