Rounds 2 and 4:This House would prioritize expanding access to affordable housing over increasing wages.

Round 5: This House believes that perpetrators of political violence should receive amnesty in exchange for full disclosure of their crimes.

Elim #2: This House believes that states should establish binding international collaboration to govern frontier artificial intelligence (AI) development rather than relying on separate national governance.

--Info Slide:

Frontier AI development: the research, training, and deployment of general-purpose AI systems that are among the most capable in the world, meaning systems trained with very large amounts of computing power, or shown to have capabilities that could seriously threaten public safety or national security. It does not include narrow AI systems built for a single specific task, such as spam filters, recommendation engines, or medical imaging tools.

Binding international collaboration: states entering into legally enforceable commitments, through a treaty and an international body with powers to set requirements on frontier developers, monitor compliance, and impose consequences for violations.
