Hello and thank you for choosing the Coon Rapids Cardinal Debate Tournament!

The Cardinal debate tournament will take place on October 4th at Coon Rapids High School in Coon Rapids, MN.

We will be offering three formats for debate: Congress, Lincoln Douglas, and Public Forum.

Public Forum will debate the resolution: Resolved: The United Kingdom should rejoin the European Union.

Novice LD will debate the resolution: "Resolved: In the United States, national service ought to be mandatory."

JV & Varsity LD will debate the resolution: Resolved: In the United States criminal justice system, plea bargaining is just.

Congress legislation will be posted to the tournament page soon!

Please try to have all entries including judges entered no later than Thursday October 2nd.

Concessions will be available throughout the day.

Please enter through door 16 on the east side of the building. The School will be open at 8am, and on-site registration will be open until 8:30. First rounds in all events begins at 8:45. Awards for all events will take place at 3:30.
