Hello and thank you for choosing the Coon Rapids Cardinal Debate Tournament!

The Cardinal debate tournament will take place on October 5th at Coon Rapids High School in Coon Rapids, MN.

We will be offering three formats for debate: Congress, Lincoln Douglas, and Public Forum.

Public forum, and JV and varsity LD, will debate the current national topics in those events. Novice LD will use the standing novice Sept.-Oct. topic, "Resolved: In the United States, national service ought to be mandatory." Congress legislation has been posted to this tournament page as of 9/24/2024

Please try to have all entries including judges entered no later than Thursday October 3rd.

Concessions will be available throughout the day.

Please enter through door 16 on the east side of the building. The School will be open at 8am, and on-site registration will be open until 8:30. First rounds in all events begins at 8:45. Awards for all events will take place at 3:30.
