Come join us for the inaugural Griffin Growl Debate and Congress tournament!

Format & Events

We will offer four rounds of debate in varsity and novice divisions of Public Forum, Lincoln Douglas, and Policy, power-matching the third and fourth rounds as necessary. Winners will be determined after the fourth round. Schools may register up to six entries in each debate division.

Novice entries will be those competitors who competed in 11 or fewer rounds the previous year. Divisions with fewer entries may be collapsed into one.

We are also offering two sessions of Congress concurrently with Debate rounds. Competitors may not register for both Debate and Congress.

Registration deadline is February 8th.

$8.00 entry fee for individuals; $16 entry fee for PF and CX. Since there are no drop fees, no maverick entries in CX or PF. Entry fees can be paid either by cash or check made out to Santa Fe Prep, memo line Speech and Debate.
