Round 4 motion clarification from CAP

Hello all,

One of the teams raised a question regarding the definition of violent civil disobedience for the prepared motion in Round 4. This response is on behalf of the chief adjudication panel for clarification:

There is valuable debate in the academic community about whether or not civil disobedience ought be violent and the extent of that violence. Ultimately this debate is about violent forms of civil disobedience. We will not be including an information slide for this debate, but instead encourage proposition teams to have researched relevant articles to craft a reasonable definition that allows for good debate.
