Silver Lake Forensics Tournament

2018 — KS/US

Silver Lake Tournament Student Congress Guidelines, Rules and R

1. WHEN REGISTERING, organize your Congress entries and divide them among the two listed Varsity and Novice Chambers.

2.  We will use the NSDA/Flint Hills started packet of legislation.

3.  We will divide times for presiding officers. Self-nominations for Presiding Officers are due NO LATER than the end of the school day, Wednesday, February 21st.

4.  Adult scorers will score each chamber. Final medals will be awarded to the 6 Top Ranked Congresspersons in each chamber. Chambers will NOT vote for medal recipients. Additionally, Presiding Officers may or may not be ranked by scorers and included in final tabulations.

5.  You may ask for extra entries, but we will be discriminatory. We want to have small, controlled Student Congress to offer everyone a fair chance and to allow us to run a quality tournament.
