We are excited to host you! We will be hosting Student Congress during the day on Friday. We will hold three chambers, breaking to Finals.

Congressional Debate will be debating: 11-20 during Prelims, and 21-26 during Finals of the TFA Fall 2023 Docket.

We will order pizza for lunch during the congress break. It will be a fast turnaround. Congress Students and coaches will hold in the library on Friday. Starting at 4:00 Students will move to the cafteria for holding during the remained of the weekend.

LD and PF will be using the Sept-October topics:

LD: Resolved: The United States ought to guarantee the right to housing.

PF: Resolved: The United States Federal Government should substantially increase its military presence in the Arctic.

CX: The United States Federal Government should substantially increase fiscal redistribution in the United States by adopting a federal jobs guarantee, expanding Social Security, and/or providing a basic income.

All cross-entries are at the student's own risk. If a student does not make their round on time they may be dropped, regardless of the reason.

Out-rounds will be paneled only if we have enough judges available.

We WILL NOT break brackets in debate out-rounds.

We will do our best to accelerate the schedule if/when possible, so please pay close attention to the postings and updates.

Debate entries may not cross-enter.

Other students may cross-enter at will, but ballots will NOT be held for students who are over-extended and do not make their rounds on time.
