Judging Requirements

1 Judge per 2 entries. Each judge will have a 2 round commitment. 

Novice: Must be 3rd year debaters or older. Please make sure all judges understand judging norms and the need to be kind to new debaters to encourage them. 

JV: Must be 4th year debaters or older. Please make sure they are capable of giving educational and constructive feedback.  

Novice Pack Evidence Requirements: All teams must be reading the NDCA novice packet evidence. Additionally, coaches should disclose which affirmative and negative arguments novice teams are reading. Novices are restricted to only reading case and DA's at this tournament on the negative.
