Tournament Support Hires

Like at T5 and T6, we will compensate in-person alumni judges. Alumni can earn $30 per round in-person or $150 if they can judge all rounds Saturday. All alumni that judged at T5 have been contacted and compensated - if any of your recruits were not contacted, please have them text the LAMDL number so I can follow up: 213-259-3469.
 
Hired alumni must complete judge training and a W-9. Additionally, if there are alumni/volunteers that can coordinate a carpool with other judges, we will reimburse gas/travel costs.

If you know of students, alumni or volunteers that want to help but are not comfortable/eligible to judge we are also looking to hire folks that will help with the following:
  • Room Checkers & Runners
  • Social Media & Photography
  • Rookie Debater Training
Rates for these non-judging roles will depend on availability and qualifications. Please have anyone interested in these roles send me an email.
