Welcome to the 11th Annual Joshua High School UIL Invitational

Come join the fun at Joshua High School as we invite you to compete in the 11th Annual Joshua High School UIL Invitational to be held on Saturday, January 15, 2022.
Contests will include all UIL academic events, LD Debate, CX Debate, Prose, Poetry, Persuasive and Informative Speaking. Both written and hands on will be offered in Computer Science.
The registration deadline is Tuesday, January 11 at 4:00 PM. We will be using UIL Set "A" Materials. Mathematics, number sense, calculator, and science contests will be divided into 9th/10th and 11th/12th grade divisions for individual awards.
To ensure that the tournament runs smoothly, we will limit the total of entries for journalism, computer applications, and ready writing. Once the contest reaches capacity, the event will close, but a waiting list will be available.
A judge is required for Computer Applications and Ready Writing, otherwise a judging fee will be imposed. We are hiring judges for all journalism events, thus we charge a little more for those events to cover the cost of judges.
Registration begins at 7:00 am. Please park buses in the far south parking area in front of Galbreath Gym. A hospitality room will be provided for coaches, graders, and drivers. Breakfast, lunch, & snacks will be served. A concession stand will be available for students to purchase food throughout the day. We will have pizza and Chicken Express in the concession stand around 11:00. There will be a meal deal available for students.
