World Schools

1. Please make sure your debaters and judges have the latest version of Zoom. We will be using breakout rooms for rounds. Instructions: https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/201362233-Upgrade-update-to-the-latest-version

2. At 8:30am 1/16 we need everyone to go to World Schools Zoom Room for Attendance. We need all of your judges and competitors to show up. This is the Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/5743243005?pwd=aFdIVlgyZUV6eWZKMG9Oc3VOOEFCdz09

3. Liz Yount is the person in charge of the division and will be in that room during the tournament. She will be able to answer any of your questions.

4. Spectators - We would ask that you do not invite parents or other debaters to join the Zoom. Our license doesn't have unlimited spots and each person in the room risks problems.

Round 1 (I): 9:00am / 10:00am

Round 2 (P): 1:00pm: This house supports the United States adopting a Universal Basic Income.

Round 3 (P): 4:00pm: This house supports the United States significantly limiting the immunity currently provided to social media companies, through Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act, for content posted by its users.

Sunday

Round 4 (I): 9:00am / 10:00am

Round 5 (P): 12:30pm: This House supports the global elimination of barriers to free trade.

Semis (I): 2:30pm / 3:30pm

Finals (P): 5:30pm: This House supports shortening the presidential election calendar in the United States.
