Hello Coaches, Judges, and Attendees,

General Information
There are logistical constraints that will require your assistance. Crowd control and noise management are our biggest obstacles.
Every participant (judges, competitors, coaches, observers) will need to wear a paper wristband in order to stay on campus. These wristbands will be given to coaches at registration on Wednesday evening. Participants on Thursday (CX and WSD) will need to wear a GREEN wristband. Participants on Friday (Congress, LD, PF) will need to wear a PINK wristband.
Schools should not bring students/observers who are not participating in rounds scheduled at UNT Frisco on Thursday and Friday. This means planning to have more than one chaperone and access to transportation, so that you can assist with moving students on and off campus as needed.
There will be rounds taking place on each floor of the building, although most rounds will be taking place on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors. We have set aside room 130 as a large holding room for participants who have just finished a round/waiting for a round to begin at a particular time. There is also space to sit on the first floor away from the rounds taking place, and, weather permitting, outside. UNT Frisco is very close to Rock Hill High School, Jones Middle School, and the hotels in our room block, so we do not anticipate long transportation times. Rounds at UNT Frisco will include all debate events and Congress.
Additionally, students and judges will need to be especially mindful of noise in hallways and common seating areas. Many of the rooms at UNT Frisco have glass walls and are not as soundproof as traditional classrooms.
Parking
Vans/Cars may not park in Lot 2. Parking is free and there should be plenty of spots in lots 1, 3, and 4. Buses may ONLY park in lots 3 and 4.
Arrival
Please do not arrive on campus at UNT Frisco before 8:20am on Thursday and Friday. Make sure all participants have the correct color of wristband once on campus.
