Outreach x Win Winter Camp
2026 — Online, US
PF Rules
Progressive Argument Policy:
Labs 1-7 may not read progressive arguments on labs 8-14 without explicit consent from the other team in prelims. This includes theory, Ks, phil, IVIs, tricks, etc, but what counts as progressive is up to the judge's interpretation.
A judge may rule that progressive arguments were ok in a specific case (for example, an IVI on a blatantly discriminatory argument) if the student(s) reading the argument during the round make an appeal before the judge goes to tab.
If a team violates this rule, they forfeit the round, and the judge should come to tab (not enter an L on their end).
Maverick Policy:
Any student may mav (compete as one debater) for any number of rounds.
No-Show Policy:
In the interest of moving rounds efficiently, if any student is not in their room 5 minutes past the start time and have not communicated a reason they will be late to tabroom, they automatically forfeit their round. Judges in this circumstance should report the forfeit to tabroom and NOT give students an L on their end.
Students who do not show up for their rounds will not receive the 100 page prep file for PF and will be blacklisted from all future Outreach camps. If a student does not show up for two rounds in a row at the tournament, they will be dropped.
