Entry fees, nuisance fees, and fee waivers

Equality in Forensics is funded entirely by the generosity of our donors. We do not charge for any of our services. In pursuit of our mission, all of our tournaments, resources, and programs are provided entirely free of charge.

This tournament charges you a $20 entry fee when you register. We offer a fee waiver to all participants.If you or your program has the financial means to pay the entry fee, we ask that you do not fill out the fee waiver. Equality in Forensics is a nonprofit organization that operates off the generosity of donors and the hard work of our volunteers. Any money we collect goes towards bare necessities, like paying the Tabroom hosting fee associated with these tournaments. Thank you so much.

We charge a $10 nuisance fee for no-shows and day-of drops. This is not to raise money. This is to deter no-shows and day-of drops. In the past it has been disastrous for tournament scheduling when many competitors sign up for a free tournament and then not show up when the day of the tournament arrives just because there is no consequence.
