Debate Rules
We will be following the NSDA guidelines on a single elimination tournament for our qualifiers. Rules may be found in the NSDA unified manual
some notable highlights:

Will continue with system of 4 preliminary rounds, RD 1/2 random preset, then powered after
-
All 3-1 and 4-0 will break to out rounds

Out rounds will have panels of 3 judges

A debate for 3rd qualifier will always be a debate, if for the first alternate, the district will prefer a debate occurring if there is a pool of judges available for debate. Otherwise the seeding/preliminary results will be used to seed the 1st/2nd alternates
