07-PSA: OPERATION BLUEBONNET

This year we’re proud to partner with Outreach Debate on Project Bluebonnet, an initiative designed to expand access to Speech & Debate for students across Texas who face financial barriers to competition. Speech & Debate is a transformative academic activity, but for many programs, the costs can create an access issue that can be prohibitive. Project Bluebonnet works to change that.

Through locally and nationally sourced funding, Outreach Debate provides grants that help cover tournament fees, hired judging costs, and team expenses for students in need, ensuring that competitive opportunity isn’t limited by a school’s budget. Even small contributions can make a meaningful impact—opening doors for students who might otherwise be unable to compete.

We’re excited to support a program that aligns with the values of equity, access, and competitive opportunity in Texas Speech & Debate. We encourage programs, coaches, and community members to learn more, donate, or apply for support through Project Bluebonnet.
