World Schools Debate

World Schools Debate at La Costa Canyon 2025 is being run as a supplemental event! This means that if you have competitors who do not advance to elimination rounds in their events on Sunday, they can still participate in the competition on Sunday.

Motions

Rounds 2 and 4 will use prepared motions; Rounds 1, 3, and Finals will be impromptu motion rounds (with motions announced 1 hour prior to the round start time).

Rounds 2: This House believes organ donation after death should be mandatory.

Round 4: This House believes artificial intelligence should not be allowed in any form of monetized music.
