Lone Star District Qualifier

for the 2025 National Tournament

Judge Application

The Lone Star district invites you to apply to judge at its district tournament series. The dates for the Lone Star tournaments are: Wednesday February 26 for Congress which will be held at the Robinson Fine Arts Center, 1800 Alma Drive, Plano Texas, 75075. Friday Feb 28 and March 1 for Speech and Debate.which will be held at Greenhill School, 4141 Spring Valley Road in Addison, Texas, 75007.

Each application is reviewed by the District Committees and a judge pool selected based on our specific needs. Please complete this form by Monday February 17. To receive a judge contract you MUST have completed a "Culture of Competency" online course. The course can be found at:https://www.speechanddebate.org/judge-training/this is of NO COST to you . Each potential judge will be contacted to confirm hire and compensation (no compensation for mileage or hotel) on (or before) Monday February 20, 2025.
