We hope to be able to single-flight LD and PF, depending on judge available. ALL schools must bring the required number of judges (which is 1 judge per every 2 debate entries and 1 judge per every 5 speech entries) in order to execute our plan for all events.
If a speech event has between 4 and 7 entries, we will have three prelims and no elimination rounds.
If a speech event has more than 15 entries, we will break to Semis (target = 10 entries). 4:00 pm Saturday will be the first elimination round for all speech events (finals or semifinals). The larger events will have a Final round (target = 6 entries) immediately after Semis. If contestants are also in the Debate elimination round at the same time, we will adjust speaker order as best as we can to minimize delays and try to get Awards started as close to the published time as possible.
