Event Limitations
-Varsity students wishing to register for 3 non-Sweeps events need to contact the Tournament Director to ask for permission to do the 3rd event. (cco.louisville@gmail.com) Students will be notified after registration is underway if there is room for them to register for their third event.
-Students aged 13 may only participate in 2 speech events
-Students are limited to 2 consecutive seasons of competing in Impromptu at one or more CCA tournaments per season. A list of non-eligible students and those who began their two-year eligibility last year was sent to each coach.
-Scripts: Interpretation and Public Address events must have a script plus cover page to turn in at tournament check-in. Read the Criteria and Competitor Standards document carefully to ensure your script is submitted
properly.
A note about commitment:
Registration is a commitment to compete in the event. Dropping an event for any reason other than illness or family emergency must be done BEFORE registration closes. After that point, each competitor needs to follow through with his/her commitment to compete.
