EVENTS

Section A:      U.S. Extemporaneous Speaking, International Extemporaneous Speaking, Novice Extemporaneous Speaking, Dramatic Interpretation, Oratory, Duet Acting, and Prose (only 2 of these may be entered, only one extemp may be entered)

Section B:       Duo Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation, Poetry, POI, Informative   
                        Speaking, and Impromptu Speaking (only 2 of these may be entered)

Section C:       Varsity CX Debate, Novice CX Debate, Varsity LD Debate, Novice LD Debate, Public Forum Debate, Novice Public Forum Debate, and World Schools Debate (only 1 of these may be entered)

Section D:       Congressional Debate-Students may run for presiding officers in prelims.    
Entrants may not enter Section C.

ENTRIES

a.    Make all entries using this website.
b.    Students competing in person must be accompanied by an adult. 
c.    Entries must represent a school (no independent entries)
d.    CX, LD, PF, & WSD entrants may not enter another live event.
e.    A novice is defined as anyone who has not competed in high school forensics prior to this school year. 
f.    Brackets will not be broken in varsity debate.

TOPICS

a.    Lincoln-Douglas debate will use the NSDA topic for September/October.
b.    Cross-Examination debate will use the NSDA Topic.
c.    Public Forum debate will use the NSDA September/October topic.
d.    NCX teams should limit evidence read to that found in the NDCA Novice Packet.

 Finals: 15, 13, 25, 27
f.    World Schools Prepared Motions
 Round 2 - This House regrets the rise of fast fashion.
 Round 3 - This House regrets the rise of fast fashion. (reverse sides)
 Round 4 - This House supports rent control legislation.
 Elim 1 - This House believes that the environmental rights of future generations supersede the economic interests of current generations.

JUDGING

a.    Varsity debaters with at least 250 NSDA points may be used as NCX, NLD, NPF, and NX.
b.    Panels will be used in elimination rounds of TFA qualifying events when possible.
