Basic Judging Paradigm:
A debate is not worth listening to if the arguments are not substantial and clash not consistently happening throughout the round.
Competitors with a bad attitude are likely to be voted down.
Lincoln Douglas/Policy:
Quality over quantity.
If your pace is such that the judge is unable to keep up, communication is not occurring.
Policy:
Clash, clash, clash.
Construct a plan and explain how it will work.
Refrain from hyperbole.
