Debate Camp Scholarships!!

Several debate camps have offered scholarships to winners of different events. Please see the below list for available scholarships. Important notes for all scholarships:

• Scholarships cannot be compounded nor added to other financial aid.
• Scholarships do not have a separate cash value and may only be applied to the individual camps granting the scholarship.  
• If there is a closeout in finals, the awards may be split (reducing the award amount per student) if all competitors in the closeout attend the same debate camp. 
• Students who win the scholarships must be willing to share their names, email address, phone number, and mailing address. This information will be sent to all the debate camps that are offering scholarships so that the camps can follow up with the scholarship winners. 

For Novice and/or JV Policy:

The following scholarships are available for the First Place Team and Top Speakers of the novice and JV policy divisions (unless there is further clarification below): 

Michigan State (SDI) 2 or 3-week - $250 off

Michigan State (SDI) 4-week - $500 off

Stanford (SNFI) 2-weeks or more* - $500 off  (1-week camps excluded)

Michigan (MNDI, Classic, 7-weeks) - $500 off 

Emory (ENDI 2 or 3-week policy programs) - $500 off 

Gonzaga - $100 scholarship for each week that the student attends ( 2, 4 or 5)

UTNIF - JV Champions and Top Speaker can choose from: 

• $775 off either Session 1 or 2 of the Topic Research Intensive program  OR
• $595 off Session 1 only of the Skills Intensive program

For Novice and JV LD:

The following scholarships are available for the specified winners of the novice and JV LD divisions: 

Champion Briefs - JV and Novice 1st place $400, JV and Novice 2nd place $250.00, JV and

Novice semifinalists and quarterfinalists $200.00.

The following scholarships are available for the First Place Competitors and Top Speakers of the novice and JV LD divisions: 

Stanford (SNFI) 2-weeks or more* - $500 off  (*1-week camps excluded)

For Novice and JV Public Forum: 

The following scholarships are available for the specified winners of the novice and JV Public Forum divisions: 

Harvard Debate Council Summer Workshops - JV 1st and 2nd place $1,000.00 each, JV Semifinalists $500.00 each. Novice 1st and 2nd place $500.00 each. 

Champion Briefs - JV and Novice 1st place $400, JV and Novice 2nd place $250.00, JV and Novice semifinalists and quarterfinalists $200.00.

The following scholarships are available for the First Place Team and Top Speakers of the novice and JV Public Forum divisions:
