About Americas Bicultural School

A privately administered, coeducational, bilingual, non-denominational institution founded in 1969, the Americas Bicultural School (ABC) is accredited by the National Private Schools Accreditation Alliance (NPSAA) in the United States, and the Ministry of Education in the Dominican Republic. It is a member of the International Schools Association (ISA), Canadian Education Association (CEA), and Overseas Association for College Admission Counseling (OACAC). We have international educational alliances such as McGill University, Trafalgar Castle, and Saint George's School in Canada and Palacio de Granda in Spain.

Our diplomas and credits are recognized internationally. The institution offers English in the Initial Level, and in English and Spanish at the Primary, Middle and High School levels. We also have a Mandarin program starting from Kindergarten and French which begins in 5th grade of Primary. English programs are based on an approved curriculum in the United States. Spanish programs consist of the official curriculum of the Ministry of Education of the Dominican Republic.

The school offers an integrated learning process with the objective of achieving the moral and academic formation of its students, preparing them to evolve successfully in the competitive society that we live in, enabling them to embark in a world with new challenges. Our graduates have been accepted in American, Canadian, Latin American, European, and Asian Universities. It must be noted that after graduating college, the majority of our students continue on to receive Masters Degrees and Doctorates. Students have received scholarships from various universities both in the Dominican Republic and abroad.

Our graduates are working at prestigious institutions in Europe, the United States, and the Dominican Republic contributing to their social, economic, and political development. We are filled with the satisfaction of having been able to contribute to the formation of our alumni and we take pride in the fact that many of them have chosen us for the education of their children. It is also worth mentioning that the great majority of the students we graduate every year were entrusted to us from as early as pre-school.
