  1. The number of students in the preliminary session will be kept to 10 or fewer to allow for the required time of debate with minimal recesses
  2. Students will not call recess time for the purposes of preparing speeches. Preparation is to be completed prior to the tournament. Chambers insisting on following this practice will be called back into session by the tabroom and the tournament will continue accordingly.
  3. Chambers will elect a PO from their members. Chambers not doing so will be in jeopardy of not advancing to elimination rounds

In short, some tournaments have encountered issues this year due to students taking advantage of the lack of knowledge by their judges of some TFA Congress practices and rules. We hope to minimize that at this tournament and in the future
