Alabama State 2022

2022 — Birmingham, AL/US

BQ Partnership and Information

Through a new partnership between the Alabama Speech & Debate Association and the NSDA, you have the opportunity to participate in Big Questions! Through this partnership, more schools and students will have access to the Big Questions Debate program and the essential life skills generated from speech and debate - critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity.

Based on the number of students competing in Big Questions Debate at the tournament, the Alabama Speech & Debate Association will receive funds from the NSDA. Plus, the schools with top students earn extra money for their teams.

This year, through partnership with the National Speech and Debate Association and the John Templeton Foundation, we plan to offer a Big Questions event at the State Tournament. The NSDA will give each of the top 4 competitors' schools $250. Also, the State champion of the Big Questions event will qualify to NSDA Nationals.
