Sweepstakes

Sweepstakes points will be awarded to all events that make (at least ten entries).  Here's the formula we'll be using:

Individual Speech Events:

5 - each non-placing finalist

10 - 3rd place

15 - 2nd place

20 - 1st place

Varsity Congress:

3 - each non-placing finalist

5 - 4th, 5th, and 6th place

10 - 3rd place

15 - 2nd place

20 - 1st place

Varsity Lincoln-Douglas:

1 - each prelim win

5 - non-advancing quarterfinalists

10 - non-advancing semifinalists

15 - 2nd place

20 - 1st place

Varsity Policy:

5 - 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th place

10 - 3rd and 4th place

15 - 2nd place

20 - 1st place
