Pre-Tournament Checklist

For all chaperones, students, and judges:

Tabroom account

- Make sure that you are able to sign into your Tabroom.com account. Make sure you are signed in before you attempt to access your rounds. You can't access your rounds without having a Tabroom.com account linked to your school.

- We have sent out a sample blast prior to the start of the tournament. The email you receive this blast through is the email you use to log in to Tabroom.com

- Once you are logged in to Tabroom.com, click on 'Profile' at the top of the screen. Make sure the profile lists the correct email, phone number, and cell provider.

 

Join Slack

- Join the tournament Slack workspace. The invite link has been emailed out to coaches. It was also be sent to all varsity judges and students via Tabroom.com blast.

- Enter your first and last name the exact same way they appear on Tabroom.com

- Enter your school name in parentheses after your name.

- For example, a Slack name can be:
Mary Brown (Menlo-Atherton)

 

Slack Check-in

- Friday Judges: use the Slack #judge-checkin channel to check in between 3PM and 4PM on Friday (the earlier the better).

- Varsity Students: use the Slack #student-check-in channel to check in in between 3PM and 4PM on Friday (the earlier the better).
Only one student per partnership should sign in.

- Polygon tab staff will check off every participant on the list by reacting to the Slack message with a checkmark. Check that your name has been given a checkmark reaction throughout the course of check-in, or you may not have been checked in (possibly due to entering your name incorrectly).

- If there are any issues, please text the #help-desk channel, or message one of the Polygon tab staff if needed.

 

Zoom

- All students, judges, and chaperones must ensure that they have their Zoom client updated (version 5.3.0 or later).

- The tournament Zoom link will be emailed out to all coaches. It will also be posted in our Slack.

- All chaperones, as listed on Tabroom.com under the school's 'contact name' must check their school in by talking to the tab staff on Zoom between 3PM and 4PM on Friday.

- All judges and students who have an urgent question can join our Zoom call and talk to our help desk. For less urgent questions, use the #helpdesk channel on Slack.

- If you experience any technical issues with the NSDA Campus rooms, join our Zoom, and we will put you in a breakout room, so that you can complete your round.

 

NSDA Campus

- Polygon will use the videoconferencing software provided by NSDA Campus, which is integrated with Tabroom.com

- Judges and students should have Google Chrome installed for NSDA Campus to work.

- Judges and students should have a working webcam, and have a working headset with a microphone. We ask that judges have their camera on during the round. We ask that the student who is speaking also have their camera on.

- Participants using an iPad should download the app version of the video tool that NSDA Campus uses which is called Jitsi
