Invitation Procedure

Attendees were invited in the following fashion:

First Round Invitations (Finals Appearance) were extended to three teams:

1.     Dartmouth TV

2.     Rutgers AH

3.     Emory GK

Second Round Invitations (Semis + Semis) were extended to no teams:

None

Third Round Invitations (Semis + Quarters) were extended to two teams:

4.     USC KS

5.     Northwestern FL

Fourth Round Invitations (Semis + Octas OR Quarters + Quarters) were extended to two teams:

6.     Michigan PR

7.     Kansas MR

Fifth Round Invitations (Quarters + Octas) were extended to one team after a tie was broken according to the formula at Total Opponent Prelim Wins.

8.     Wake Forest KM       10 Prelim Wins, 44 Opp Prelim Wins

Kentucky EG                    10 Prelims Wins, 42 Opp Prelim Wins

Wildcard

Louisville BY was invited to attend as the Wildcard team but is regretfully unable to attend.

Kentucky EG accepted the next invitation to debate as the Wildcard team.

Update:

After Michigan PR withdrew on October 16, Samford EG was invited as the first alternate after Kansas BF was ineligible as a second team. MSU GS was the second alternate. Samford EG accepted.
