School Judges

School judging obligations are as follows: 

CX/WSD Debate – 1 judge per 2 teams

PF/LD Debate – 1 judge per 4 teams

Congress; IEs and Extemp – 1 judge per 10 entries

The fee for missing judges is $150. All judges MUST have an account and working account with tabroom.com. Judges MUST know how to navigate tabroom successfully.

Participating schools MUST ensure that school judges are able to navigate tabroom.com AND that they understand the rules and nature of the event they are judging. Schools whose judges do not meet this criterion during the tournament may have their judges removed and may be charged a judge fee.

Due to the schedule we are using, judges MAY NOT enter into more than one pool. However, we MAY call on a judge in the pool to shift over to a different pool in order to cover a specific round or for the duration of the tournament, depending on tournament needs.
