Tournament Rules

Debate

Varsity Policy, Novice Policy, VLD, NLD, PFD, Congressional Debate and World Schools Debate contestants may only enter in one debate event.

Congressional Debaters competitors may cross-enter in extemporaneous speaking.

A novice is defined as a competitor in their first school year in high school TFA competitions. 

As per TFA guidelines the rounds will be recorded.  Coaches need to keep a signed copy of the media release form.

Individual Events

DI, OO, PO, HI, PR, INF, POI (Contestants may cross-enter in these events). Students will submit by Tuesday, October 13th at 11:59pm. The video recordings will be judged for the preliminary round and semifinals.

All final rounds will be held, Saturday, October 17th , and the final rounds for these events will be held live.
