TOPEKA WEST FORENSICS

Dear Coach:

The Topeka West High School Forensics squad would like to invite you and your squad to compete at our tournament on February 9-10, 2018.

We will be offering the following events on Friday: Public Forum Debate, Lincoln-Douglas Debate and Student Congress will be held on Friday only.  

We will be offering the following events on Saturday:  Original Oration, Informative (state and NSDA), Domestic Extemp., International Extemp., Humorous Interp., Dramatic Interp., Duo Interp, Duet Interp, OIL (prose or poetry), and POI  

Sweepstakes will be based on your top 20 across all SPEECH EVENTS.

The top six in LD, and PFD will receive medals after 4 rounds of power matched competition.  The top six competitors in Individual Events will advance to finals and receive medals for their placement.  The top six senators and representatives will also receive medals, and gavels will be given to the outstanding presiding officers in each chamber.  The top three schools in sweepstakes points will receive trophies.  Schools will be allowed to use 4 of their L.D. entries toward Sweepstakes.
