Dear Forensic Coaches and Forensic Teams:

The Canyon Springs forensic program and administration would like to invite you to the Pioneer Debate Invitational to be held Friday and Saturday, December 11-12 at Canyon Springs High School and Leadership and Law Preparatory Academy.  This league tournament will have individual events for the Golden Desert forensics district on Friday and all debates on Saturday. Novice and Varsity Sections will be available in all IEs, and Novice, Junior Varsity and Varsity debaters will be available on Saturday.  All competitors will engage in 2 rounds of competition in IEs and 3 rounds of competition in Debate, with the possibility of quarter and semifinal before finals in Debate.

                Entries due:         Monday, December 7 by 3 PM

 Adds end:             Wednesday, December 9 by 3 PM Fees will be assessed at this time. No money will be refunded for

drops or no-shows.

               Drops due:            Friday, December 11 by 1 PM NB: This is a major change that is possible only becuase of tabroom.

Please make your own drops online at any time until 1PM on Friday. Any students not dropped prior to printing of the competition will be assessed a fine.

Rounds will begin at 3:30 on Friday, provided we have enough judges on hand.

Changes are a hassle for the tab room.  Changes after the deadline (drops or adds) will be an extra $10 per change on top of the entry fee, paid to GDSDL.  Substitutions are better than drops. No extra fee will be assessed for substitutions. Entry fees will be determined based on the entries at the close of registration.
