It is with great pleasure that we here at Langham Creek HS extend an invitation to you and your team to attend the 2025 Langham Creek Lobo Invitational, hosted HYBRID (online via NSDA Campus & in-person at Langham Creek HS)this February 6th - 8th, 2025. We will be a TFA qualifying tournament for all TFA events, a NIETOC qualifier AND a UK TOC Speech Bid Qualifier! Please register EARLY! This is a great opportunity to get those last-minute state points and TOC Bids! Langham Creek Speech & Debate students may enter, compete and advance at this tournament.

Hybrid Info: We are allowing teams the option to travel to the Langham Creek campus located in scenic Houston, TX or the option to participate virtually online. When registering, you will be able to choose to register in an online division or an in-person division. Once entries close, we will collapse both divisions into one.If an in-person entry must compete against an online entry, you must login to NSDA Campus in order to compete. More specific info to come (check out the "Hybrid Info" page once it is available).

Double Entry Info: Competitors in CX, LD, PF or WSD CANNOT cross enter with SPEECH or INTERP events. Competitors may cross enter between Section A & B Events as well as Congressional Debate.

Please Review Your JUDGING OBLIGATION!

ENTRY RESTRICTIONS: The only schools that may enter this tournament are accredited high school or middle/junior high schools. No enrichment schools or programs have standing to enter our tournament. You must be attending a high school or junior high school and entering as a representative of that school with an official school sponsor present to compete at this tournament.

A Junior Varsity Competitor for our tournament is defined as a competitor in their first year of competition in either speech or debate.

In DEBATE Divisions, we will offer Six (6) Preliminary Rounds in Varsity CX, LD & PF and FIVE (5) Rounds in World Schools Debate. We will NOT break brackets in debate. All JV debate events will feature Four (4) preliminary rounds. LD & PF will be flighted.

In SPEECH Divisions we will offer Three (3) Preliminary Rounds in ALL Divisions

Congress Legislation: TBA. A complete docket will be made available on the “Debate Topics” page in January.

The Original Spoken Word Poetry division will follow NSDA guidelines found by clicking here.
