Welcome to the 2024 Independence Old Hollywood Speech & Debate Gala!

The tournament will take place on February 23, 2024, at Bingham Middle School, and all Kansas City-based middle schools are encouraged to attend. We will offer HI, DI, Duo, HDA, DDA, IDA, Congress, Prose, Poetry, Storytelling, Impromptu Speaking, Original Oratory, Informative Speaking, and Experienced and Novice divisions of Public Forum debate. We will cap entries at 5 per event and accept more as space allows. Entry fees are $25 for a school and $3 per competitor in each event.
