Belgrade Invitational Tournament

You are cordially invited to attend the Belgrade Invitational Tournament on December 8-9, 2023 at Belgrade High School. We will be utilizing tabroom.com for registration (http://belgradeinvitational.tabroom.com).

IMPORTANT DATES

New Entries Due December 1st @ 5 PM

Drops & Name Changes Due December 5th @ 5 PM

There will be a limit of 4 entries per event, JV entries will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Varsity and Novice divisions will be offered in both Policy and Lincoln Douglas events. All other events are open division.

Entry Fees: There will be no on-site registration. All double-checking and changes will be done by coaches via tabroom.com and after 5:00 PM on December 5th. via email. Each school will be charged $5.00 per student entry. Partner events will be $10.00 ($5.00 for each student).

There will be no fees for drops, additions, or changes up to Wednesday, December 5th at 5:00 PM. Any changes after this will be assessed a $20.00 penalty.

Rules: The MHSA handbook rules will be enforced.

Logistics: Concessions will be available on Saturday, December 9th in the Special Events Center. A hospitality room will be available for judges and coaches.

Tabroom will be set up in the Belgrade High School Library, located on the first floor of the school in the Commons (where students can setup camp). Our Librarians have kindly asked us to keep food and sticky drinks out of the library. The awards ceremony will be held in the Belgrade High School Auditorium.

Judges: As with any tournament, the recruitment of judges is a huge task. If you know anyone in the Belgrade area who may be interested in judging, please send the link below and encourage them to sign up!

8:30 AM Round 4 Speech

10:00 AM Round 5 Debate

10:30 AM Round 5 Speech

12:00 PM Octafinals for varsity debate with 32+ entries

Quarterfinals for other debate events

1:00 PM Semifinals for Speech with 25+ entries

Finals for Speech with 24- entries

2:00 PM Quarterfinals for varsity debate with 32+ entries

Semifinals for other debate events

3:30 PM Finals for Speech

4:00 PM Semifinals for varsity debate with 32+ entries

Finals for other debate events

5:00 PM Finals for any LD and PF if Octafinals are run

6:00 PM Finals for VPOL if Octafinals are run

6:30 PM Awards in BHS Auditorium
