Young Genius Association is excited to host their annual Congressional Debate tournament for Elementary and Middle School students. We are one of few organizations that coordinate tournaments for younger competitors, and we invite all Congressional Debaters in the 4th through 8th grades to compete in Congressional Debate and 2-3rd grade students to compete in Speech.

Elementary and Middle School students will compete in different divisions.

Middle School Congress - 6-8th grade

8:00 - 9:00 AM • Mandatory Judge Check-In/Training
9:00 - 9:15 AM • Tournament Welcome
9:30 - 10:45 AM • Round 1 for all levels of Congress + Elementary Speech
10:45 - 11:00 AM • Break
11:00 AM - 12:15 PM • Round 2 for all levels of Congress + Elementary Speech
12:15 - 12:45 PM • Lunch Break
12:45 - 2:00 PM • Round 3 for all levels of Congress + Elementary Speech
2:00 - 2:30 PM • Break
