Welcome to the 2023 East Central Hornet Hijinks and the La Vernia Bear Brawl Swing.

We are happy to announce that the La Vernia side of the swing on Saturday will be a NIETOC qualifier!

All TFA rules will be observed. We prefer judges over judge fees. Please expect to judge as this will be a large tournament.

This swing will operate as two one-day tournaments - meaning that students can get double points in everything.

Pay attention to the schedule we will NOT hold rounds. Students entering extemp should only enter extemp in group A. CX debaters cannot cross-enter in anything.

The Hornet Swing will utilize Congress items from the TFA Docket - 1-6 for prelims, 7-12 for semis, and 13-18 for finals. The Bear Brawl will utilize Congress items from the TFA Docket - 13-18 for prelims, 7-12 for semis, and 1-6 for finals.
