You are cordially invited to the Larry A. Ryle High School Haunted Tournament!  We are delighted to host one of the first tournaments of the season, and hope that you will come out to join us for a spooky good time at Ryle High School in Union on Saturday, October 19^th.

We offer all KHSSL events plus improvisational storytelling (sample ballot attached to invite), Lincoln-Douglas, public forum, and policy debate.

Debate Topics:

Varsity LD (Sept/Oct):  Resolved: In a democracy, voting ought to be compulsory.

Novice LD:  Resolved: Civil disobedience in a democracy is morally justified.

Public Forum (Sept/Oct):  Resolved: Unilateral military force by the United States is justified to prevent nuclear proliferation.

Policy:  Resolved: The United States federal government should substantially increase its economic engagement toward Cuba, Mexico or Venezuela.
